Tomer Dorfan
Founder, Owner
Tomer founded Avalon Title Group to create a title agency that always puts the customer first. Before launching Avalon, he built his expertise in title and escrow as a Vice President at First American, both at Endpoint and within the direct division, where he focused on national direct operations. Prior to that, Tomer served on the executive team of Spruce, a national title agency that was later acquired by Zillow, where he led customer acquisition. In 2024, Tomer was recognized by Inman as a Future Leader in Real Estate and by HousingWire as a Rising Star. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and began his career practicing law at two large national firms.
Aside from working on Avalon, Tomer enjoys biking and hiking with his wife and two daughters, trying new recipes and cooking techniques, and playing chess online (despite not being particularly good)
Amber Lindamood
Director of Operations
With nearly two decades of experience in title and escrow, Amber leads Avalon’s operations with a focus on precision, efficiency, and client experience. Her background spans a wide range of transaction types, including complex commercial portfolios, luxury residential properties, construction and private funding deals, and distressed or special-situation closings. She has built and guided high-performing teams, developed systems that streamline even the most intricate transactions, and fostered a culture of accountability and excellence across the organization. Amber’s deep operational expertise ensures Avalon delivers a consistently smooth and reliable closing experience for every client.
When she's not solving complex title issues for our clients, Amber unwinds with her family, maintains her garden, goes camping and fishing (though not necessarily catching), and cooking anything and everything.
Brandy Surgener
Senior Escrow Officer
Having started her real estate career as a Realtor before moving into title, Brandy understands the trust clients place in their transaction team and how important it is to keep each file moving smoothly. At Avalon Title Group, Brandy works closely with agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers to provide responsive support, accuracy, and a positive closing experience. She takes pride in being a dependable resource and helping make the title process feel organized, informed, and less stressful for everyone involved.
Brandy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and an MBA with a focus in Accounting and Human Resources, giving her a strong foundation in client service, business operations, and attention to detail.
Outside of work, Brandy enjoys spending time with her family, reading about leadership, business, and personal growth, and staying involved in her three kids’ activities. She values family time, continued learning, and building strong relationships both personally and professionally.
